Map Overlays

Pegeen Singley Mar 17, 2016 02:08PM PDT

We are located in Louisiana and last week had epic proportions of flooding. I would like to overlay our membership base with some flood zone information.

Does BatchGeo allow for Overlays yet? I saw in 2014 they did not, but wasn't sure if we could do this now.

Is there another method of doing this kind of overlay with BatchGeo?

No, we just provide 6 different map types and the ability to plot your addresses on the map. You can create groups, but no flood zone, zip codes area maps, etc.

Can BatchGeo overlay two different datasets? One dataset has 1700 records and the other has 19 records. Has that changed since 2014?

Hi Krista,

You can paste all the data, but you need to combine into one spreadsheet first. Make sure the columns all align and contain the same data. You can separate those groups by inserting a Group Column titled “Group”. Then just put a description in each row that defines each group. This will give you a different colored marker for each group.
