WARNING on Editing a Map

Jeff Aug 19, 2016 06:47AM PDT

This is a WARNING to the Batchgeo Community: This software does not work like MOST logical platforms. If you open a Map in "Edit" mode; Change the Name of the Map and Data... IT DOES NOT SAVE the MAP Under the New Name as a New File. IT DOES REPLACE THE ORIGINAL FILE with the New Data under the New Name.
Unfortunately, I just Lost many hours of work. SO MAD right now !!

If you have your original data in your spreadsheet it should only take a few minutes to re-make your map. Our system is set up this way because most of our users are updating the same map link that is published on websites or to users of the maps and they don’t want the file changed if just changing the title of the map.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks,
Tracy
