Is there a way to get more control over how links within map items open?

Steve Mar 28, 2017 03:38PM PDT

Currently when I specify a URL in a map item, I have very little control over how that URL opens up.

There is only one checkbox which says "Links open a new Window".

Is there any way to get links to open up in a smaller popup window as opposed to a whole new tab?

In the URL field I've tried using javascript (e.g. javascript:window.open('http://.....')) but this fails because when the link is rendered, BatchGeo put an 'http' in front of it and this breaks the desired popup functionality.

It will end up rendering as follows:

http://javascript:window.open('http://.....')

Is there any other way of getting the functionality I'm looking for?

Thanks!

Hi Steve -
Sorry but there is currently no way to control how the links open.
