Erica Jan 06, 2016 09:54AM PST

Is there a limit to how many addresses I can geocode with BatchGeo Pro?

You can geocode up to 25,000 markers per map, there is no max on total number of geocodes.

is a "geocode" a map, as in there is no limit on the number of different coded maps you can create? and what are the limits on the free side for both of those just to compare.

thank you

A geocode is converting an address to a map point, we allow 25k points per map. There is no limit on the number of maps.

For free version we only allow up to 250 points, there is no limit on number of maps.

thanks for reply (haven't figured out if there is anything i can click to get an email notice of a reply). ok so i get those limits. on to the next:
it appears that 'groups' are limited to 10 which is the number of colors you have to assign? or can i have additional groups that repeat colors or . . . it could start colors over assigning different shapes . . . i can see this could be an issue with hundreds of groups but i might need 15 so i'm looking for a workaround.

and i'm guessing the group limit on the free side is 7 since that is the number of colors ?

Hi Brian – 7 is the limit on the free side, 10 is the limit with Pro. We don’t have support for more colors beyond that, we find that beyond that many they get a bit too difficult to distinguish from one another.
