Opening Google map NOT driving directions.

Tim Sep 04, 2017 09:24PM PDT

When I click on a map location to open Google maps, it always opens showing driving directions from my current location. I don't want this, I just want it t o show me the google map of the target location without the directions. How can I do this?

Dear Batch Geo - I've used batch geo for several years now without this issue but in the last week or 2 I have the same issue. Please - no driving directions.

Hi Russ,

When you are on your mobile device or any device that has GPS enabled (turned on), once you click the address, does it just go to the address? What type of device and what browser are you using or are you using the App?

I am having the same problem. When using firefox on my laptop, I would click on the address from the batchgeo map and it would open the street view in google maps. Now it defaults to the directions from current destination app which I do not want. How do I make batchgeo function the way it did a few weeks ago? Thank you. Steve

Hi Steve,

We do have this on our support ticket. The way it should work. If you click on the address, directions will appear. Just close the directions and the location should remain selected. This is not currently happening. Majority of our users want directions.

I do not have an ETA on this fix, but possibly a week or two.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Thank you,
