Checking the hide address box allows you to elimate the address from the marker bubble.  This limits ability to zoom into area and doesn't allow you to open up Google Maps when you double-click the marker.  It also removes the data from below the map if you have Map and Data on.  

Great for mapping donor lists and not revealing private or confidential information.
